Pillar Garnish Removal

  1. Fully open the liftgate.
  2. Affix protective tape to the position shown in the figure.

  3. Insert a remover tool in the position shown in the figure.

  4. Move the remover tool in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and while peeling off the double-sided adhesive tape, detach the pillar garnish clips (1), (2) and (3) from the body starting from the vehicle rear.

  5. Remove the pillar garnish.
