Diagnostic Procedure

MRCC INDICATOR LIGHT (GREEN) IS NOT ILLUMINATED DURING MRCC OPERATION [RADAR UNIT] - DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection		Action
1	INSPECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER Turn off the MRCC warning light (amber) using the M-MDS instrument cluster active command modes WL+IL. (See ACTIVE COMMAND MODES INSPECTION [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER] .) Are all the warning lights turned on/off?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	Replace the instrument cluster. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2	VERIFY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONNECTOR CONDITION Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .) Disconnect the instrument cluster connector. Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection. Is the connector normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
2		No	Repair or replace the connector.
3	VERIFY RADAR UNIT CONNECTOR CONDITION Disconnect the radar unit connector. Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection. Is the connector normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
3		No	Repair or replace the connector.
4	INSPECT CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH Inspect the cruise control switch. Is the cruise control switch normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
4		No	Replace the cruise control switch. (See CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MAZDA RADAR CRUISE CONTROL (MRCC) SYSTEM] .)
5	INSPECT RADAR UNIT Inspect the radar unit. (See RADAR UNIT INSPECTION .) Is the radar unit normal?	Yes	Symptom troubleshooting is completed.
5		No	Replace the radar unit. (See RADAR UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
