Resistance Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Disconnect the air bypass valve connector. (Refer to DYNAMIC PRESSURE TURBO REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Inspect the resistance between air bypass valve terminals A and B.

Air bypass valve resistance
- 12.7-13.7 ohms [23°C {73 °F}]
- If not within the specification, replace the dynamic pressure turbo. (Refer to DYNAMIC PRESSURE TURBO REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
