Diagnostic procedure

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	VERIFY IF SAS CONTROL MODULE IS CORRECTLY INSTALLED Verify the SAS control module installation condition. Is the installation condition normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	Install the SAS control module correctly, then perform the SAS control module configuration. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION (USING READ/WRITE FUNCTION) [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) (See SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA) [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) (See SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION (USING READ/WRITE FUNCTION) [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) (See SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA) [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) Go to Step 3.
2	VERIFY SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC Using the M-MDS, perform the SAS control module DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) (See DTC INSPECTION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) (See DTC TABLE [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) DTC troubleshooting completed, then go to the next step
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY DTC TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED Using the M-MDS, clear the DTC from the DSC HU/CM. (See CLEARING DTC [DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)] .) Start the engine and drive the vehicle at 30 km/h {19 mph} or more. Gradually slow down and stop vehicle. Using the M-MDS, perform the DSC HU/CM DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION [DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)] .) Is the same DTC present?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the DSC HU/CM, then go to the next step. (See DSC HU/CM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3		No	Go to the next step.
4	VERIFY NO DTC IS PRESENT Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)] .)
4	VERIFY NO DTC IS PRESENT Are any DTCs present?	No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
