Upper Panel Installation

NOTE:
  • When clips B are removed at the front of the upper panel, clips for the rear of the shift panel may be disengaged.
  1. Connect the commander switch connector (with commander switch).
  2. Verify that the clips on the end of the shift panel are disengaged from the front console.
    CAUTION:
    • If the upper panel is installed with the upper panel hooks not inserted into the grooves of the console, the hooks could come out or be bent inward and damaged. Verify that the hooks are inserted into the grooves and then install.
  3. Press the upper panel in the order of arrows (1), (2), and (3) as shown in the figure, and install hooks, clips A, clips B and clips C.

  4. Fasten the fastener and button.
  5. Close the console lid.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable, (with commander switch) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
