DTC U0433 68 DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY LASER SENSOR DTCs Switch the ignition off. Switch the ignition ON (engine on) and wait for 10 s or more . Retrieve the laser sensor DTCs using the M-MDS. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS [LASER SENSOR] .) Are any DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS [LASER SENSOR] .)
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED Clear the DTC for the instrument cluster using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER] .) Switch the ignition ON (engine on) and wait for 10 s or more . Retrieve the instrument cluster DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER] .) Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the laser sensor. (See LASER SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) Go to the next step.
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER] .)
3		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
