DTC U0401:00: Notes

DTC U0401:00 Invalid data received from PCM
DETECTION CONDITION 
  • Invalid PCM signal detected for 0.5 s

    Diagnostic support note: 

  • The check engine light does not illuminate.
  • The automatic transaxle warning light does not illuminate.
  • PENDING CODE is not available.
  • FREEZE FRAME DATA is not available.
  • The DTC is stored in the TCM memory.
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION  -
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • PCM malfunction
  • TCM malfunction
