No.7 No Shifting

7 No shifting
DESCRIPTION 
  • Single shift position only.
  • Sometimes shifts correctly.
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • When the gear position is fixed in 3GR due to the fail-safe operation, the malfunction is in the ATX.
  • Perform malfunction diagnosis according to the symptom troubleshooting "NO.6 LOW MAXIMUM SPEED AND POOR ACCELERATION". (See NO.6 LOW MAXIMUM SPEED AND POOR ACCELERATION .)
NOTE:
  • If a tire of a different diameter from the standard tire is installed, the TCM determines that the driving mode is the AAS mode, and may change to a different shift timing from the normal timing.
  1. Clutch slippage, burnt
    • Line pressure low
    • Shift solenoid A malfunction
    • Shift solenoid B malfunction
    • Shift solenoid C malfunction
    • Shift solenoid D malfunction
    • Shift solenoid F malfunction
    • Pressure control solenoid A malfunction
    • Pressure control solenoid B malfunction
    • Body GND malfunction
    • Control valve body malfunction
  2. Signal malfunction
    • VSS malfunction
    • Sensor GND malfunction
    • APP sensor malfunction
    • MAF sensor malfunction
    • CKP sensor malfunction
    • Input/turbine speed sensor malfunction
  3. Transaxle fixed in 3GR (Operation of fail-safe function)
    • Short or open circuit in wiring harness
    • Poor connection of connector
    • Disconnected shift solenoid connector
    • Poor GND of shift solenoid
  4. Transaxle fixed in 4GR (Operation of fail-safe function)
    • Forward clutch slippage
    • VSS malfunction
    • Shift solenoid A malfunction (Stuck on)
    • Poor connection of connector
  5. Transaxle fixed in M position
    • M position switch (built-in selector lever component) malfunction
