| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- If the transaxle does not shift abnormally, there is a malfunction of the input signal to the APP sensor, input/turbine speed sensor, or VSS (including sensor GND).
- If the engine speed is high or low, regardless of normal shifting, inspect the tachometer.
- Verify that the output signal of the APP sensor changes linearly.
- Clutch or brake slippage
NOTE:
- If a tire of a different diameter from the standard tire is installed, the TCM determines that the driving mode is the AAS mode, and may change to a different shift timing from the normal timing.
