Shift point is high or low

DESCRIPTION

Shift point considerably different from automatic shift diagram.
Shift delays when accelerating.
Shift occurs suddenly when accelerating and engine speed does not increase.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

If the transaxle does not shift abnormally, there is a malfunction of the input signal to the APP sensor, input/turbine speed sensor, or VSS (including sensor GND).
If the engine speed is high or low, regardless of normal shifting, inspect the tachometer.
Verify that the output signal of the APP sensor changes linearly.
Clutch or brake slippage

NOTE:

If a tire of a different diameter from the standard tire is installed, the TCM determines that the driving mode is the AAS mode, and may change to a different shift timing from the normal timing.
