Operation inspection

CAUTION:
  • Do not apply voltage to a solenoid valve for 3 s or more to prevent damaging it.
NOTE:
  • Perform the inspection in a quiet place because the operation sound of solenoid valve may be difficult to hear.
  1. Disconnect the coupler component connector.
    1. Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5] .)
    2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
    3. Disconnect the coupler component connector.

  2. Apply the battery voltage between the GND and each terminal of A and B and verify the solenoid valve operation sound.

    • If the operation sound cannot be verified, inspect the solenoid valve continuity.
    • If there is any malfunction in the coupler component, inspect the solenoid valve individually. (See PART INSPECTION .)
