On-Vehicle Inspection Preparation
- When performing the on-vehicle inspection, set the oil cooler out of the way.
- Disconnect the oil cooler from the transaxle. (See OIL COOLER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
NOTE:
- Do not disconnect the oil hose and water hose from the oil cooler and transaxle because the engine is started when performing the on-vehicle inspection.
- Suspend the oil cooler using rope to secure the disconnected oil cooler.
CAUTION:
- To prevent damage to the parts, do not pull the oil hose and water hose excessively.
- To prevent damage to the parts, do not twist the oil hose and water hose.
- To prevent part damage, do not allow parts to interfere with the cooling fan.
