On-Vehicle Inspection Preparation

  1. When performing the on-vehicle inspection, set the oil cooler out of the way.
    1. Disconnect the oil cooler from the transaxle. (See OIL COOLER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
      NOTE:
      • Do not disconnect the oil hose and water hose from the oil cooler and transaxle because the engine is started when performing the on-vehicle inspection.
    2. Suspend the oil cooler using rope to secure the disconnected oil cooler.

      CAUTION:
      • To prevent damage to the parts, do not pull the oil hose and water hose excessively.
      • To prevent damage to the parts, do not twist the oil hose and water hose.
      • To prevent part damage, do not allow parts to interfere with the cooling fan.
