| 1 | INSPECT FOR PCM MALFUNCTION

Yes | Go to applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [MZR 2.5] .) DTC troubleshooting completed, then go to the next step. |
| No | Go to the next step. | ||
| 2 | VERIFY THAT SAME DTC IS NOT PRESENT
|
Yes | Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the electric power steering oil pump component. (See ELECTRIC POWER STEERING OIL PUMP COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) |
| No | Go to the next step. | ||
| 3 | VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT

Yes | Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See ELECTRO HYDRAULIC POWER ASSIST STEERING (EHPAS) ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS .) |
| No | DTC troubleshooting completed. | ||
