DTC C1099: Notes

DTC C1099 Electric power steering oil pump (motor)
DETECTION CONDITION 
  • The EHPAS CM detects that the motor speed is less than the specified value.
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION 
  • Control disabled
  • Power steering malfunction indicator light: Illuminated
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • Power steering oil pump internal malfunction
  • Motor internal malfunction
