DTC B1A61:11, B1A61:13 [Full-Auto Air Conditioner]: Notes

DESCRIPTION
  • B1A61:11
    • Passenger compartment temperature sensor circuit short to ground
  • B1A61:13
    • Passenger compartment temperature sensor circuit open
DETECTION CONDITION 
  • Malfunction in wiring harness between passenger compartment temperature sensor and climate control unit
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION  Malfunction determined when IG SW at ON 
  • Passenger compartment temperature sensor input value is fixed at the value right before the malfunction.

    Malfunction already exists when IG SW turned to ON 

  • Passenger compartment temperature sensor input value is fixed at 25 °C {77 °F}. 
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • Passenger compartment temperature sensor connector malfunction
  • Passenger compartment temperature sensor malfunction
  • Open or short circuit in wiring harness between climate control unit and passenger compartment temperature sensor
  • Short to ground in wiring harness between climate control unit and passenger compartment temperature sensor
  • Climate control unit connector malfunction
  • Climate control unit malfunction
