Climate Control Unit Removal/Installation [Full-Auto Air Conditioner]

CAUTION:
  • Affix protective tape to the position shown in the figure to prevent damage.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Side wall (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Center console box (See CENTER CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Console panel (See CONSOLE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Center console (See CENTER CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Shift lever knob (MTX) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G66M-R] .)
    6. Selector lever knob (ATX) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    7. Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    8. Front console (See FRONT CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Release the left and right tabs and remove as shown in the figure.

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
