Pedal Free Play Inspection

- Perform "Pedal Inspection Preparation".(See PEDAL INSPECTION PREPARATION .)
- Depress the clutch pedal by hand until clutch resistance is felt, and measure the pedal free play as shown in the figure.
- If not within the specification, perform the following procedure:
- Verify that there is no damage, wear, or deformation on the push rod of the clutch master cylinder.
- If there is no malfunction in the clutch master cylinder, replace the clutch pedal. (See CLUTCH PEDAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

- 17 mm {0.67 in} or less
