HALFSHAFT (Rear): Removal

  1. Remove the rear coil spring. See REAR COIL SPRING  .
  2. Remove and discard the halfshaft nut. See Fig 1 .
    CAUTION: Make sure to support the wheel knuckle.
  3. Remove the nut and separate the lower ball joints. See Fig 2 .
  4. Using the Hub Remover (205-D070), separate the halfshaft from the knuckle. See Fig 3 .
  5. Remove the halfshaft from the differential. See Fig 4 .
