HALFSHAFT (Rear): Installation

  1. Install the halfshaft into the differential. See Fig 1 .
  2. Using the Rear Hub Replacer (204-161), install the halfshaft end into the hub assembly. See Fig 2 .
  3. Position the lower ball joint and install the nut. See Figure .
  4. Install a new halfshaft nut. See Figure . Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  5. Install the rear coil spring. See REAR COIL SPRING  .
