Brake Master Cylinder: Disassembly

- Remove the brake master cylinder. See BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Clean the outside of the brake master cylinder.
- Remove the brake master cylinder reservoir. See Fig 1 .
- Remove the seals. See Fig 2 .
- Remove the snap ring. See Fig 3 .
- Remove the primary and secondary piston. See Fig 4
.NOTE: If the brake master cylinder bore is damaged, a new brake master cylinder must be installed.
- Use isopropyl alcohol to clean and inspect the brake master cylinder bore for damage.
