Brake Pedal Height & Stoplight Switch

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Mazda Tribute, 2003 Mazda Tribute, and 2002 Mazda Tribute. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: NEW stoplight switch must be used whenever brake pedal height is adjusted. NEW switch can only be adjusted once.

Models are equipped with a Brake Pedal Position (BPP) switch which is self-adjusting during installation. Further adjustments require new switch. No other brake pedal height information is provided by manufacturer.
