Front Wheel Bearings

Raise and support vehicle. Remove front wheel assemblies. Remove grease cap, cotter pin and retainer. While rotating rotor, tighten adjusting nut 17-24 ft. lbs. (23-34 N.m) to seat bearings. Back off adjusting nut 180 degrees. Tighten adjusting nut to 18 INCH lbs. (2.0 N.m). Install bearing retainer. Remove and relocate retainer to align cotter pin. DO NOT turn adjusting nut to align cotter pin. Install NEW cotter pin.
