Front Seat: Removal

Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . On models equipped with side air bags, disable air bag system. See DISABLING SYSTEM under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM. Connect negative battery cable.
On all models, remove front seat rear seat track bolts. Position seat rearward. On models with power seats, disconnect negative battery cable. Wait at least one minute for back-up power supply to deplete stored energy. On all models, remove front seat front seat track bolts. On models with power seats, disconnect power seat electrical connector. On all models, remove front seat.
