Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor

- CKP sensor is located on front of engine, near crankshaft pulley. Disconnect CKP sensor connector. Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between terminals "A" and "B" at CKP sensor. See Fig 1 . Resistance should be as specified. See CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR RESISTANCE table.
- If resistance is not as specified, replace CKP sensor. When installing CKP sensor, adjust air gap to .040-.080" (1-2 mm).
