Removal & Installation (B2300)

    NOTE: Do not pull on the spark plug wire as it may separate from the spark plug wire connector inside the spark plug wire boot.
  1. Remove the spark plug wires by slightly twisting while pulling upwards.
  2. Disconnect the ignition coil harness connector. See Fig 1.
  3. Remove the 4 bolts and the ignition coil. See Fig 2.
  4. To install, reverse removal procedure. Wipe the coil towers with a clean cloth dampened with soap and water. Remove any soap film and dry with compressed air. Inspect for cracks, carbon tracking and dirt. Apply silicone dielectric compound to the inside of the spark plug wire boots. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
