Removal & Installation (Mazda6 2.3L)

Remove the intake manifold. See INTAKE AIR SYSTEM under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS.
Remove the knock sensor bolt and remove the knock sensor. See Fig 1.
To install, reverse removal procedure. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
