NOISE AT IDLE WHEN VEHICLE IS STOPPED IN ALL POSITION/RANGES - DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

- Inspect engine condition.
- Is there anything wrong with the engine?

Yes |
Go to appropriate symptom troubleshooting.

| No |
Inspect installation condition of engine and transmission mounts. Inspect also for AT cooler pipe vibration.
- If okay, overhaul control valve body and repair or replace any defective parts.
- If problem remains, replace or overhaul transmission and repair or replace any defective parts.

- Verify test results.
- If okay, return to diagnostic index to service any additional symptoms.
- If malfunction remains, inspect related Service Bulletins and/or On-line Repair Information and perform repair or diagnosis.
- If vehicle is repaired, troubleshooting completed.
- If vehicle is not repaired or additional diagnostic information is not available, replace TCM.
