Gap Adjustment

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the following parts:
- Front side marker lights (See FRONT SIDE MARKER LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Front bumper (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Front combination lights (See FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Front fender panel (See FRONT FENDER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Loosen the hood hinge installation bolts and adjust the hood.
- Tighten the bolts.
- Verify that the gap between the hood and the body is within the specification.
Standard clearance
- : 3.5-6.5 mm {0.14-0.25 in}
- : 3.0-6.0 mm {0.12-0.23 in}
- : 2.5-4.5 mm {0.10-0.17 in}
