DTC B1213/P1260 DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	VERIFY NUMBER OF REGISTERED KEYS Using the WDS or equivalent, perform the PID/data monitor inspection and confirm the number of registered keys. (See PID/DATA MONITOR TABLE .) Are two or more keys registered?	Yes	Replace the keyless control module and perform procedures for when replacing the keyless control module only. (See KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM COMPONENT REPLACEMENT/KEY ADDITION AND CLEARING .)
1		No	Using the WDS or equivalent, clear the key ID number and register a new key if necessary. (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM COMPONENT REPLACEMENT/KEY ADDITION AND CLEARING .) Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY DTC Using the registered key, turn the ignition switch to the ON position. Is the DTC displayed again? SECURITY LIGHT: 21 WDS or equivalent: B1213/P1260	Yes	Replace the keyless control module and perform procedures for when replacing the keyless control module only. (See KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM COMPONENT REPLACEMENT/KEY ADDITION AND CLEARING .)
2		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
