Pressure Control Solenoid

- Remove the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the battery cover.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Drain the ATF. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID (ATF) REPLACEMENT .)
- Remove the oil pan and gasket.
- Disconnect the solenoid connector (2-pin).
- Remove the fix plate.
- Remove the pressure control solenoid.
- Apply ATF to a new O-ring and install it on the solenoid valve.
- Install the pressure control solenoid in the control valve body.
Tightening torque
- 6.9-8.8 N.m
- {71-89 kgf.cm, 62-77 in.lbf}
- 6.9-8.8 N.m
- Install the fix plate.
Tightening torque
- 6.9-8.8 N.m
- {71-89 kgf.cm, 62-77 in.lbf}
- 6.9-8.8 N.m
- Connect the solenoid connector (2-pin).
- Install the oil pan and new gasket to a new oil pan installation bolts.
Tightening torque
- 7.0-9.0 N.m
- {72-91 kgf.cm, 63-78 in.lbf}
- 7.0-9.0 N.m
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Install the battery cover.
- Install the engine cover.
- Add ATF and, with the engine idling, inspect the ATF level and inspect for leakage. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID (ATF) REPLACEMENT .) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID (ATF) LEVEL INSPECTION .)
- Perform the time lag test and line pressure test. (See MECHANICAL SYSTEM TEST .)
- Perform the road test. (See ROAD TEST .)
