| off | Measure voltage at instrument cluster terminal 31. Is voltage 0 V ?

| 2 | Open passenger-side door. (Door switch on.) | on | Close passenger-side door, then go to next step. |
| off | Measure voltage at instrument cluster terminal 3K. Is voltage 0 V ?

| 3 | Open rear door on driver-side. (Door switch on.) | on | Close rear door on driver-side, then go to next step. |
| off | Measure voltage at instrument cluster terminal 3K. Is voltage 0 V ?

| 4 | Open rear door on passenger-side. (Door switch on.) | on | Close rear door on passenger-side, then go to next step. |
| off | Measure voltage at instrument cluster terminal 3K. Is voltage 0 V ?

| 5 | Open liftgate. (Cargo compartment light switch on.) | on | Close liftgate, then go to next step |
| off | Measure voltage at instrument cluster terminal 3K. Is voltage 0 V ?
