No.4 Excessive Creep

EXCESSIVE CREEP - DESCRIPTION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

4 Excessive creep
DESCRIPTION 
  • Vehicle accelerates in D, 3, 2 ranges, and R position without depressing accelerator pedal.
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • Engine idle speed high (transaxle system is not cause of problem)
  • Go to symptom troubleshooting No.9 "Fast idle/runs on"

    NOTE:
    • Before following troubleshooting steps, make sure that Automatic Transaxle On-Board Diagnostic and Automatic Transaxle Basic Inspection are conducted.
