Resistance Inspection

NOTE: Resistance values are accurate with transaxle fluid at 68°F (20°C).

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Disconnect transaxle 12-pin connector No. 1. Measure the resistance between specified terminals. See Figure and Figure . If resistance is within specification for all solenoids, check solenoid operation. See OPERATION INSPECTION . If any resistance is not as specified, remove suspect solenoid valve from control valve body. See appropriate SERVICING article. Measure resistance at component terminals. See Figure-Figure . If resistance for any solenoid is not within specification, replace faulty solenoid. See appropriate SERVICING article.
