Disabling & Activating Air Bag System

CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected, clock and audio system memory will be cancelled. Record audio system settings before disconnecting battery.
To disable SRS, turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect negative battery cable. Wait at least 10 MINUTES before servicing vehicle. To activate SRS, ensure ignition key is in LOCK position. Connect negative cable. Perform SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
