Insulation Resistance of Case

Remove the high-tension lead. (L3 (with DEI system)) (See HIGH-TENSION LEAD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 (with DEI system)] .)
Disconnect the ignition coil connector. (See IGNITION COIL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Measure the insulation resistance between the following using an ohmmeter.
- L3 (with DEI system): Terminal B to ignition coil case
- L3 (with SEI system): Terminal A to ignition coil case
- AJ: Terminal A to ignition coil case
  - If not as specified, replace the ignition coil.
