Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. For additional information, refer to REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL .
  2. Position the watershield aside.

  3. Remove the rear door molding screws.

    CAUTION:
    • The rear door molding retainer clips must be collapsed from inside the door, failure to do so may result in damage to the vehicle.
    NOTE:
    • The rear door molding retainer clips are one-time use only. New clips must be used during installation.
  4. Collapse the door molding retaining clips.

    NOTE:
    • Use a wedge type tool to add tension to assist in removal of door molding.
  5. Remove the rear door molding.
    NOTE:
    • New door molding will snap into position when installed.
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
