Removal (Millenia)

Release fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove fuel tank. Disconnect both fuel lines and 4-pin harness connector from sending unit assembly. Using Fuel Sender Wrench (49-U014-001), turn locking retainer ring counterclockwise. See Fig 1. Remove lock ring. Remove fuel pump and sending unit assembly.
