Removal & Installation (Tribute)

Release fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Disconnect negative battery cable. Lift left rear seat cushion. Remove carpet retainers and position carpet out of way. Remove fuel pump access cover screws and access cover. Disconnect electrical connector. Disconnect fuel and vapor lines from fuel tank. Using special tool, (310-069) remove lock ring and fuel pump module. To install fuel pump module, reverse removal procedure.
