Operation Inspection

CAUTION:

Applying voltage to the APV motor terminals for more than 3 seconds may damage the APV motor.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the APV motor.
Apply 12 V with a current of 0.9-1.9 A to terminal B or D and verify that the gear moves.
- If there is no malfunction, carry out the CIRCUIT OPEN/SHORT INSPECTION .
- If there is any malfunction, replace the APV motor. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
