Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION System

The EGR system allows controlled amounts of exhaust gas into the intake manifold to reduce oxides of nitrogen (NOx) and improve fuel economy.

The EGR system on the B2300, B3000, B4000 pick-ups and Tribute consists of a control valve, Differential Pressure Feedback EGR (DPFE) sensor, EGR Vacuum Regulator Solenoid (EGR-VRS), connecting hoses and pipes.

The EGR system on the Miata consists of an electronically operated EGR valve, boost sensor and boost sensor solenoid valve. The EGR valve has 4 coils that may be operated individually by the PCM as needed.

The EGR system on the Millenia consists of a control valve, boost solenoid valve/MAP sensor, solenoid valves (vacuum side and vent side), position sensor, connecting hoses and pipes.

The EGR system on the MPV consists of a control valve, boost sensor, boost sensor solenoid valve, connecting hoses and pipes.

The EGR system on the Protege and Protege5 consists of a control valve, boost sensor, boost sensor solenoid valve, position sensor and connecting hoses and pipes.

The EGR system on 626 consists of an EGR control valve, boost sensor, boost sensor solenoid valve, solenoid valves (vacuum side and vent side), position sensor, connecting hoses and pipes.
