MILLENIA 2.3L: Inspection

  1. Turn ignition switch off. Ensure throttle valve is at Closed Throttle Position (CTP). Disconnect TP sensor 4-pin harness connector. Check for continuity between terminals "C" and "D" of TP sensor connector. See Figure . Continuity should be present. If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, adjust TP sensor.
  2. Insert a feeler gauge of specified thickness between throttle lever and throttle stop screw. Check for continuity between terminals "C" and "D" of TP sensor connector. See Figure . Continuity should not be present. If continuity is present, adjust TP sensor.
