Continuity Inspection

CAUTION:
- Water or foreign objects entering the connector can cause a poor connection or corrosion. Be sure not to drop water or foreign objects on the connector when disconnecting it.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the air cleaner component. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the TR switch connector.
- Inspect for continuity at the TR switch.
- If not as specified, adjust the TR switch and go to Step 6.
- Reinspect for continuity at TR switch.
- If not as specified, replace the TR switch. (See TRANSAXLE RANGE (TR) SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Connect the TR switch connector.
- Install the air cleaner component. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Connect the negative battery cable.
