Removal & Installation

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the unlock position.
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to WHEELS AND TIRES .
  3. Remove the castellated nut.
    1. Remove the cotter pin.
    2. Remove the castellated nut.

  4. Loosen the tie rod end jam nut.

  5. Using the special tool, separate the tie rod end.

  6. Remove the tie rod end.

  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    1. Adjust the front toe. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
