Valve Cover - RH: Installation

NOTE: The valve cover must be installed and the bolts tightened within six minutes of applying the sealant.

Install a new valve cover gasket if damaged.
Apply a 5 mm dot of silicone gasket sealant to the front cover to cylinder head joints.

Position the valve cover and install the bolt and the studs in the sequence shown.

Connect the crankcase ventilation tube to the valve cover.

Connect the radio ignition interference capacitor.

Connect the (O2) sensor electrical connectors and wiring harness to the RH valve cover stud.

Install the RH coil-on-plugs.
1. Position the RH coil-on-plugs.
2. Install the three bolts.
3. Connect the three electrical connectors.

Install the upper intake manifold. Refer to Refer to the following:
- For 2001 models, see UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD .
- For 2002 models, see UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD .
- For 2003 models, see UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD .
