Valve Cover - LH: Installation

Position a new gasket on the valve cover.

NOTE: The valve cover must be installed and the bolts tightened within six minutes of applying the sealant.

Apply a 5 mm dot of Silicone Gasket Sealant to the front cover to cylinder head joints.
Position the valve cover and install the studs and the bolts in the sequence shown.

Position the power steering hose and install the bolt.

Position the engine lift bracket and install the bolt.

Connect the wiring harness to the valve cover studs.

Install the three LH coil-on-plug.
1. Position the coil.
2. Install the bolts.
3. Connect the electrical connector.

Connect the crankcase ventilation tube to the valve cover.

Install the nuts and the engine appearance cover.
