Removal & Installation

Remove the LH and RH valve covers. Refer to VALVE COVER - LH and VALVE COVER - RH .
Remove the LH and RH spark plugs.

Remove the RH front wheel.
Remove the splash shield.

Rotate the crankshaft until the camshaft lobe is pointing directly away from the follower.
Using the special tool, remove the followers.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Lubricate the camshaft followers with SAE 5W-20 Motor Oil.
