Removal & Installation

Disable air bag system. See DISABLING SYSTEM under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM. Disconnect connector, located under front seat. See Fig 1 . Remove covers, mounting bolts and front seat.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten front seat mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Activate air bag system. See ACTIVATING SYSTEM under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
