Miata, Millenia 2.5L & 626

Locate and remove IAT sensor from air cleaner housing. Place IAT sensor and thermometer in a container of water. Connect ohmmeter between IAT sensor terminals. Slowly heat water. Observe resistance at specified temperatures. See IAT SENSOR RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS (MIATA, MILLENIA 2.5L & 626)  table. If resistance is not as specified, replace IAT sensor.
