Charcoal Canister - Miata & Protege

Remove charcoal canister. On Miata, charcoal canister is located under vehicle, forward of fuel tank. On Protege, charcoal canister is located in right rear of engine compartment. Plug ports "A" and "B". Apply small amount of air pressure to port "C". On Protege, plug ports "A" and "C". Apply small amount of air pressure to port "B". See Fig 1 . If air leaks, replace charcoal canister.
