Air By-Pass Valve (ABV) Solenoid Valve (Vacuum)

Remove ABV solenoid valve. See Figure . Apply air pressure to port "A" of ABV solenoid valve. See Fig 1 . Air should not flow from port "B". Using fused jumper wires, apply battery voltage to ABV solenoid valve terminals. Air should flow from port "B". If operation of ABV solenoid valve is not as specified, replace ABV solenoid valve.
