Charcoal Canister Removal/Installation: Notes

  1. Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5] .)
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5] .)
  3. Remove the charcoal canister protector.

  4. Remove the CV solenoid valve. (See CANISTER VENT (CV) SOLENOID VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
